Sea Fishing

Rock Fishing: Pentire Point, Trevose Head, Rumps point, Daymer Bay all provide good rock fishing for mackerel, wrasse, pollack, garfish, trigger fish, plaice, turbot and bass. Float fishing and spinning are best in summer months but bottom fishing with sand eel ragworm lugworm, peeler crab all provide good sport.

Rock Fishing Trips, Rock. Fishing Trips Running daily From Rock in the beautiful camel estuary of North Cornwall. Tel: 07723 360 902

Beach Fishing: The beaches get very crowded! Try a little further afield Watergate Bay Constantine, Bedruthan Steps.

Boat Fishing: Both North (Padstow, Rock, Newquay) and South Coast (Fowey, Looe, Mevagissey) have charter boats. The South coast tends to be more sheltered from the weather which frequently makes North coast trips too uncomfortable (and dangerous). We suggest you contact the Harbour Commissioners of the towns and ask for advice. They will need you to give them an idea of: party size, ages, half day or whole day, inshore or deep water fishing; they will be able to refer you to those available.
