The Mill is part of the Lamellen Estate which has been in the family for generations. It was originially a barn and mill for producing cattle feed and part of the farm opposite. New buildings replaced the old in 2007 and the farm has been moved away from the river.
The 2 acre garden has a large lawn suitable for family fun with views up the Allen valley and a fence along the river bank.

We stayed for a week in June. There were 3 generations staying together and we chose the place due to its proximity to the north coast and that the house had two sitting rooms and plenty of bathrooms. We were not disappointed, the extremely large open plan living / dining / kitchen area is amazing, the kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The beds are super comfortable, we all slept really well. The pool table was a welcome addition and was used a lot! Nearby Daymer Bay is a beautiful beach and we could take our dogs. We would highly recommend this property.

Stayed here as a group of 8 adults, one child and one baby (4 generations of one family) for half term week in Feb 2020 and can’t rave enough about it. Spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped. Plenty of space for a large group to either be together or have a bit of quiet. Lovely grounds. Cot and highchair provided free of charge. Kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked and baked). Beds and bedding were beautiful. We would love to come back. The pictures don’t do it justice!
